The proceeds from An Afternoon Affair are directed towards Villa Charities’ newest daycare at Casa Abruzzo.
For over 30 years, the Columbus Centre Daycare, has enriched the mind, body and soul of thousands of children. This unique brand of childcare, exclusive to Villa Charities, blends programs that ensure proper child development while celebrating Italian passion through culture and traditions. Children receive Italian lessons on a daily basis, meals are Italian-inspired and special activities are planned to celebrate Italian festivals and holidays. Under the care of Early Childhood Educators, children from ages 18 months to 12 years have a fun, engaging, culturally-sensitive place to learn, laugh and grow.
In September 2008, a brand new daycare was opened in Centro Abruzzo, which is part of Villa Charities’ Casa Abruzzo, an independent seniors’ residence. This new facility continues our tradition of culturally-sensitive care for children in state-of-the-art surroundings.
