The Exhibit: Galle's colourful, whimsical style has become increasingly popular. In a style reminiscent of Chagall, Galle uses watercolour and ink in order to illustrate characters in various ethereal poses. Through the use of bicycles, featured in various colours and forms, Galle's paintings show an appreciation for life's simpler things: getting a coffee, or even a ride through the countryside. Galle says he uses the bicycle as a metaphor for the way he likes to live his life: with simplicity.
In support of the Giro T.O., the exhibit will be on display from April 6 - May 31, 2006 in Columbus Centre, located at 901 Lawrence Ave W (near the corner of Dufferin & Lawrence).
