Enterprising residents at Villa Colombo Toronto have recently launched a program designed to foster creativity and share the results with the community. Three seniors are gathering a few times a month to create one-of-a-kind bracelets, which will be available to purchase by the public. The bracelets are custom-made and come in different colours, with different silver-plated charms as well. They are being sold for $10 to $15. Giuseppina is an 80-year-old who has been a resident of Caboto Terrace since 2013.  She decided to make the move to be closer to her husband, a resident of Villa Colombo at the time. Giuseppina visited her husband every day.  Four months later, her husband sadly passed away. Giuseppina began to feel lonely and therefore, decided to join the Elderly Persons’ Centre, a Day Program offered at Villa Colombo.
