Every year Villa Charities Foundation brings a little bit of Italy to Toronto. In March 2009, Villa Charities Foundation will bring Toronto to Italy! On March 22, 2009, tourist crowds will clear out of Rome’s historic streets to make way for runners and walkers from all over the world who will gather for the 15th annual Maratona di Roma. And Villa Charities’ Team Villa will be among them. Whether you are a serious marathon runner looking for a new challenge or a recreational runner/walker who would love to explore Rome in this way, Team Villa is a great opportunity to be part of a unique charitable event. La Befana Brunch
This Epiphany, discover how to celebrate and share Italian culture with your bambini at the 2nd annual La Befana Brunch. Bring your family to Sala Caboto in Villa Colombo for a fun-filled afternoon of lively music, good food, a variety of events geared towards children such as face painting, storytelling, crafts, as well as a silent auction. Plus, La Befana herself will visit to hand out treats and take photos. Proceeds raised will go to Columbus Centre Children’s Day Care.
