Culturally and linguistically sensitive staff provide the Italian community with information, intervention and referral services.
Services
Seniors and their families who require assistance concerning financial, housing, health, personal or legal matters will be directed to the appropriate existing agencies.
Financial
Centro Anziani helps seniors fill out forms and contacts Government offices on behalf of clients to inquire about eligibility for programmes:
Centro Anziani arranges for volunteer accountants to assist low-income seniors with the completion of their income taxes, during tax time.
Counselling
Culturally sensitive crisis intervention or contact with appropriate agencies helps seniors maintain their independence and remain in their homes as long as possible. Assistance is also provided to those seniors and family members in need of long-term care, linking the seniors to the services of their local Community Care Access Centres.
Diner's Club
Warm meals served weekly in the common room at Casa Del Zotto and Caboto Terrace.
Meals On Wheels
Italian style meals are provided to seniors living in the community. Persons unable to cook for self or requiring a special diet, e.g. diabetic, low salt, puree, etc will have meals personally delivered to their home (if residing in the catchment area).
The meal consists of a pasta or soup, main entrée of meat or fish and salad or vegetable with fruit for dessert.

- Canada Pension Plan (CPP)
- Financial Aid Programs, e.g., Assistive Devices Programme (ADP)
