The Villa Charities family of organizations is committed to delivering culturally sensitive care through health, social and educational experiences that energize and mobilize the community, by sharing and enriching our Italo - Canadian cultural heritage. The name "Villa Charities" reflects the historical fact that Villa Colombo was the first and centrepiece development project on the Dufferin and Lawrence campus. The family of organizations included under the umbrella of Villa Charities are: Villa Charities (ICBC) (1971), Villa Colombo Services For Seniors (1976), Columbus Centre (1980), Centro Scuola (1976), Villa Colombo Vaughan Di Poce Centre (2006), Caboto Terrace (1984) & Casa Del Zotto (1991) Apartments for Independent Seniors, VITA Community Living Services (1986), Joseph D.
