At Villa Charities our 10-acre complex is ideally suited to accommodate your next important life event. Our sprawling grounds are meticulously manicured to offer you a setting that is picturesque, while our diverse and versatile event rooms are easily transformable to match your vision. Our team of culinary experts can deliver a variety of menu options, while our events coordinator can assist you in planning for every detail. With about 90 weddings held each year at our event centre, and numerous other important celebrations, we have the experience and expertise that is needed to execute your perfect day.

 

Weddings

Columbus Event Centre offers everything a bride and groom could possibly want and need for their picture perfect wedding day. With romantic and picturesque gardens for outdoor ceremonies and picture taking as well as beautifully appointed banquet rooms all your wedding day needs can be met under one roof.

Couples can choose between our classic ballroom and our modern Carrier Art Gallery, often described as Toronto’s “mini Guggenheim”. All our rooms can be transformed to suit any taste, from afternoon wedding luncheons to lavish dinner receptions, Columbus Event Centre accommodates weddings ranging from 40 to 300 guests. We also offer ample complimentary parking.

Providing our clients with the finest in Italian and Continental cuisine by our award winning executive chef, our team of food enthusiasts’ work with you one on one to create a menu that is a reflection of your unique needs and preferences.

Our all-inclusive wedding packages include room rental, three to six course meal, open seven hour bar, floor length linens, tableware, meal sampling for two, complimentary parking, coat check service, wedding cake service and any applicable taxes.

Sala Caboto

Our main ballroom showcases Murano glass chandeliers, a marble foyer and splendid hardwood floors. There is ample lobby space to accommodate receiving lines as well as large cocktail hours. With an abundance of natural light filtering through the lobby space as well as a view and direct access to our Mediterranean garden Sala Caboto makes for a stunning ballroom for social and corporate events. Sala Caboto is also equipped with a complete line of A/V services as well as wireless internet access to meet your event needs.

Carrier Art Gallery

The Carrier Art Gallery is a marble rotunda style atrium which showcases original art exhibits. This room is ideal for weddings, cocktail parties, social celebrations, luncheons, product launches, meetings and team building activities.

Columbus Room

Providing the finest in Italian and Continental cuisine by our award winning executive-chef, we work one on one with you to customize a menu that suits your unique needs. We also have breakfast and lunch menus for you to choose from, within our Corporate Package.

We are able to meet all of your audio visual requirements, by offering you the latest in built-in state-of-the-art equipment.

Main Boardroom

Our executive style boardroom boasts a beautiful bay window and is complete with a large boardroom table, leather armchairs and multi level lighting.

Boccaccio Boardroom

An executive style boardroom accented with a wall of French doors. Ideal for smaller groups.
