Cultural Tuesdays Prix-fixe Dinner Special
Join us at Ristorante Boccaccio every Tuesday for a special prix-fixe dinner menu before or after attending the Cultural Tuesdays presentations at the Joseph D. Carrier Art Gallery. Cultural Tuesdays is a series of illustrated talks and presentations, designed to engage our community on a wide range of topics, spanning from culture, lifestyle, cuisine, art, and much more. Each Tuesday we will feature an engaging guest speaker, artist or performer to highlight the richness and diversity of Canadian and Italian heritage. Under the guidance and mentorship of Executive Chef Gino Marchetti a new format for the reimagined and resurgent Ristorante Boccaccio is now in place. Ristorante Boccaccio embodies a synergy combing youthful exuberance, experience, education and knowledge to bring our authentic, Italian cooking to our guests.
Executive Chef Gino Marchetti was classically trained at Italy’s world-renowned Villa Santa Maria Abruzzo’s culinary school, where he sharpened his world-class culinary skills in restaurants throughout Europe and North America.
Since settling down at the Columbus Centre more than 28 years ago, he has continually updated his menu for Ristorante Boccaccio and Columbus Events Centre to highlight each season’s freshest ingredients. Marchetti also channels his Italian heritage into the restaurant’s popular theme nights, which spotlight a particular Italian region and its cuisine.
