The Columbus Centre School of Music is committed to the development and diffusion of music both within the Italian–Canadian community and the community at large. Our music school gives students the opportunity to explore their musical passion. Our instructors have a breadth of musical periods, genres and varied teaching techniques. Our instructors cater to each individual interest, whether the aim is for leisurely fun or for preparation for the Royal Conservatory of Music and school-entry exams.

We offer a wide variety of music lessons that are open to anyone of any skill level. Our seasonal one-on-one private lessons in vocals, guitar, piano, violin, flute, clarinet, or drums are taught by our professional instructors. For over 30 years, our music program has developed into one of the most prominent in the community, and the progress of our students is widely admired by those who attend our two annual recitals. For those who excel in our music academy, we have made available scholarship options so they can continue to practice with us and continue to grow as students of the arts.

In addition to in-person classes, the Columbus Centre School of Music is also offering online music classes! Our music instructors will be teaching private lessons virtually via apps such as ZOOM, Facetime or Skype. Lessons are available in piano, vocal, violin, guitar and drums. Open to new and existing students. To inquire about virtual lessons, please contact: cultural@villacharities.com

Music Scholarship Program

The Columbus Centre School of Music is proud to offer a music scholarship program. Music students will receive awards recognizing their exceptional talent, dedication and passion for music. The scholarships, which provide students with monies towards future Columbus Centre School of Music tuition fees, reinforce the school’s commitment to developing musical growth in children’s lives.
