Santo A. Veltri, LL.B.
Santo A. Veltri is a senior Vaughan litigator.
Mr. Veltri grew up in the Dufferin-Lawrence neighborhood, attending both St. Charles Catholic School and St. Charles Borromeo Church, and attending numerous Villa Charities functions as a teenager. He has been a volunteer at the organization for over 16 years, serving as a member of the Board of Villa Colombo Homes for the Aged Inc. (Villa Colombo Toronto) since 2002, with a focus on governance, and as Chair since 2016. He has also been a member of the Villa Charities’ Board ex officio since 2015.
Since his call in 1983, Mr. Veltri has practiced family law and litigation, and in 1993, was one of the founding partners of Bianchi Presta LLP, a full-service law firm in Vaughan. Mr. Veltri has also been a Standing Agent for the Public Prosecution Service of Canada for the jurisdiction of Newmarket since 1994.
Analytical, practical and compassionate, Mr. Veltri has a track record for resolving complex and emotional disputes.
Mr. Veltri was elected Chair of the Board of Governors of Villa Charities Inc. at its Board meeting on June 26, 2018.
