Host an Event

With over 40 years of proven commitment to caring for the community, we invite you to share our passion and help us by hosting a fundraising event, with proceeds to Villa Charities Foundation. It is up to you to choose how to get involved – the possibilities are endless!

Here are some ways in which businesses or community members can help raise money:

Donation per transaction day/week/month/year – Create a promotion in which a donation is made for every transaction.

Packaged goods – Identify a packaged item that reflects Villa Charities and for every item sold, donate a set amount.

Office Theme Parties – Organize a BBQ costume party, a Winter Holiday party or a Halloween party. The themes are limitless and are a fun way for the whole office to socialize.

A-Thons”- Host a bike-a-thon, walk-a-thon, or dance-a-thon. You can have co-workers compete individually or have departments challenge each other.

Draw or Silent Auction – Collect prizes for your auction and/or draw – tickets to sporting events, restaurant gift certificates, even a paid day off work! Suggest minimum donations for each auction item or ticket price for draw.

Casual Day – Designate a casual day in exchange for donations to Villa Charities Foundation. For people who normally wear business attire or uniforms, have a manager or owner allow employees to wear casual clothes which would not normally be worn to work. In return, the employee donates a specified amount of money to Villa Charities Foundation.

BBQ’S – BBQ’s have the potential to draw a large number of people. Ask local businesses to donate to help decrease costs and increase revenue.

Staff Golf Tournament – Have your company sponsor the tournament, which will cover the costs, and have your staff purchase tickets to the event. If a golf tournament is not up your alley, consider a bowling tournament, a softball tournament or other sport. Any sporting event will do!
