Learn Italian By Doing

This program for adults invites you to learn or practice Italian in a relaxed and “simpatico” atmosphere outside of a traditional classroom. Join us to learn or polish your Italian!

NEW! Club del Libro – Online series with Violante Binazzi

From the salons of the 18th century to the social reading of 2020, the literary circle is a time-honoured practice, which promotes culture and being together. Our new book club is an opportunity to explore and discuss contemporary Italian literature while learning Italian.

Club del Libro’s first literary adventure will be reading The Neapolitan Novels, a 4-part series by the famous and pseudonymous Italian novelist, Elena Ferrante, named by TIME Magazine as one of their 100 Most Influential People in 2016. Books can be read in both English and Italian.

Travel Through Italy – Online series with Angelita Papa

Take a virtual journey through the beautiful regions and cities of Italy! From North to South, get inspired by landscapes, recipes, small towns, poems, art, literature masterpieces and local tales. Whether you are sharing your Italian origins with your classmates or simply your love for this country, you will get to know lots of new Italian words, customs and friends!

Beginner: For adults with elementary or no knowledge of Italian.

Intermediate: For adults with an intermediate or greater knowledge of Italian. Topics will be mostly discussed in Italian with a focus on cultural aspects.

  • Beginner – Monday, October 5 – November 23 at 6:30 – 7:30pm
  • Intermediate – Tuesday, October 6 – November 24 at 7:30 – 8:30pm

Art & Aperitivo is an opportunity to talk about art in a relaxed environment, while enjoying our favorite drink together virtually. In this free online interactive workshop, we will discuss the most significant art news and events from around the world, using Italian magazines and newspapers. We invite you to practice your Italian while expressing your views.
