The Columbus Centre Athletic Club’s three outdoor tennis courts will open for the 2023 season on

Friday, April 1, 2023.


Try your hand at Pickleball, one of the fastest growing sports in North America. Whether you are a first-time player or a seasoned veteran, everyone is welcome!

NEW Launch & Learn Mini Pickleball

A lunchtime,10-week program launching beginners into the sport of pickleball. Our pickleball coach, Niki Aron, will introduce students to pickleball fundamentals including
strokes, tactics, grips and scoring.

Our tennis courts are open from April 1 – October 31, 2022 and are available for bookings by Members and Non-Members Monday to Sunday, 8:00am – 8:00pm. Booking and registration required. We also offer tennis lessons for players of any skill level.

Players interested in the 2022 tennis season must register through the Columbus Centre Athletic Club Membership Office, Monday – Thursday, 9:00am – 9:00pm and Friday – Saturday, 9:00am – 5:00pm.

Advance court booking is required through our new online Sporty HQ booking system. Once registered with the Membership Office, a password to access the Sporty HQ website will be provided. The 4-digit combination code to the secure gate lock will also be provided. This code will be changed and emailed to you weekly. 

Private and group tennis lessons are available please email naron@villacharities.com to book.

Summer Tennis House League

Columbus Centre Athletic Club’s competitive tennis house league allow players to compete with other players, on their own time, accumulating points over six weeks, with a final match between the top players for the win. Prizes and social will be held at Caffe Cinquecento following the final match.

One-Hour Pickleball Clinics

Pickleball clinics are for both experienced players and those who have never played before. Don’t own a racquet? We have you covered. Mike Wang, our experienced Pickleball Pro who has been teaching racquet sports for over 15 years, will teach you everything you need to know. All you have to do is show up and enjoy the spring air.

Two-Hour Pickleball Clinics

Clinics will introduce players to the rules of pickleball including scoring, strokes and proper grip, and providing knowledge and skills to start playing one of the fastest growing sports in North America.

Adult Beginner ‘Learn to Play’ Tennis

A six-week program for adults who are looking to learn the game or beginners looking to improve. We will cover basic stroke fundamentals, technique, and form. Game play and scoring will also be covered. No experience required. This program is for adults at a beginner level.

Children’s Racquet Camp

Do you want your kids to keep active and learn something new this summer? Young athletes ages 7 to 14 will enjoy tennis, squash, spike ball and more, with Coach Niki and Coach Max at our Children’s Racquet Camp in July and August.

  • Monday, July 25 – 29, 12:00 – 3:00pm
  • Monday, August 8 – 12, 12:00 – 3:00pm

Price: $320.00/week

To ensure your safety, certain restrictions will apply.


Strict adherence of the following is required by all participating members, prior to court booking:

  • Prior to visiting the tennis courts, every player must perform the Ontario Ministry of Health self-assessment for COVID-19, and if they do not pass the assessment, they should not visit the tennis facilities.
  • All participants must book courts using Sporty HQ.
  • Participants must always maintain a safe distance from each other. 
  • As per standard member agreement, only authorized tennis club members are allowed on the court at any time.
  • Keep a two-metre distance from people outside your household.
  • Due to member and staff safety concerns, the Columbus Centre Athletic Club reserves the right to suspend the membership of anyone found to be in violation of these rules or policies.
